Mineralogy:
Scheelite Ca(WO4) is a rare natural gem with a high refractive index (6,1g/cm3).
Its light fracture index (1.913) is higher than that of diamond.
Scheelite consists of almost 2/3 of the rather rare element Wolfram aka Tungsten (Tungsten comes from the Swedish words “tung” & “sten”, meaning “heavy stone“ as it has almost the same spec.weight as gold) which is one of the hardest metals of the universe (between 8 & 9 on the Mohs hardness scale ).
In German Tungsten is better known as Wolfram (etymol. from the German „Wolf (=woolve)“ & Ra(h)m (the white essence of a woolves milk (in reference to the Scheelites colour in sunlight).
Of all metals in pure form the rare Wolfram element of the Scheelite has the highest melting (3422 °C) & boiling point lowest vapor pressure, & highest tensile strength.
Such it is often utilized to create hardest possible alloys, such as high speed (cutting)tools, jet turbine engines, to ammunition, lighting, as well as to improve electrical conductivity.
This worldwide unique gem type with a hardness of 5-51/2 is a high (pure) grade of luminescent blue scheelite.
The highest grade of this litholkogy consists of up to almost 100% scheelite.
This can be in a surprising way proven & demonstrated in the 254nm wave-length of light. It shows an extremely vivid Milky Way 3D Galaxy’s appearance im different mostly blue-white-and sometimes also yellowish colours!
The fluorescence color of this blueish scheelites shows beautiful light & darker blue star flashes some sprinkled with yellowish dots.
The impression resembles a hologram of the milky way.
Many animals can see these intense colours with their original eyes.

These Scheelites on the picture are rough and a few are cut pieces. They are opaque.
They would look deep blue if you put some water or mineral blue on it. (the material is very stable unlike the aragonite/dolomite aka so called (only) "Scheelites" from Turkey.

Note: Almost all of those pretty looking sometimes banded "blue scheelites" offered on other platforms are "scheelites" by the name only.
I checked those "scheelites" on other plarforms, they look very nice but they are aragonite/dolomite rocks without Tungsten. They are not glowing blue in 254nm (as mistakenly indicated I guess on some sites) but slightly pinkish/yellowish in 385nm.
Authentic Scheelite is rare and can be easily proven by testing its high hardness 6.7+, its heavy mass and with a UVC lamp (causing an intense luminiscense) or touching it with a low concentrated HCl or muratic acid which should leave it unharmed unlike the aragonite/dolomites which were mistakenly labeled "scheelites"

Ich habe mir diese „Scheelite“ auf ebay angeschaut, sie sehen sehr schön aus, aber sie sind Aragonit* und leuchten nicht blau bei 254nm (wie fälschlicherweise auf einigen Seiten angegeben) sondern leicht rosa/gelblich bei 385nm.
Echter Scheelit ist selten und kann leicht nachgewiesen werden, indem man seine hohe Härte von 6,7+, seine schwere Masse und mit einer UVC-Lampe (die ein intensives Leuchten verursacht) prüft oder ihn mit einer niedrig konzentrierten HCl- oder Muratensäure berührt, die ihn im Gegensatz zu den fälschlicherweise als „Scheelite“ bezeichneten Aragoniten/Dolomiten unversehrt lassen sollte.
Auch das in der Regel hoehere spezif. Gewicht ist ein Unterscheidungsmerkmal fuer dessen Echtheit.
